Background of the organization
The organization that would become known as the Central Kentucky Angels began in1998. The Central Kentucky Angels AAU organization has been in existence for over 12 years. The founders were Mike Graves, Fred Moses, Shirley A. Cunningham, and the parents of the first Angels teams. Their dedication to basketball excellence has blossomed to providing quality players for not only NCAA Division I, II, and III schools, , as well as other NAIA, & Junior Colleges, in and out-of-state from Kentucky.
The Central Kentucky Angels strives to be the best at AAIM (Athletics (as athletes), Academics (as students), Integrity (as citizens) & Maturity (both physically and emotionally). These expectations are to create a better youth when they become a part of the Central KY Angels program.
The success of the Angels program can be noted as being a quality and effective organization with notable activities such as the following:
